I love garlic and it's used regulary in my household, it's great in cooking, sauces and marinades but did you know that clever little garlic also does a lot more?

1. Aids weight loss!

Research shows that garlic has weight loss elements due to the compounds found inside! It makes you feel fuller, fastens your metabolism and also helps to burn fat!

2. Earache/ cold remedies

Fact garlic is a natural antibiotic! Crush a clove of garlic and mix it with some plain yogurt for some natural medicine to ease cold and flu symptoms. Also for earaches crush a clove and mix in a tablespoon of hot oil for 5 minutes. Leave to cool. Then add a couple of drops in your ear and leave to work, the pharmacies sell the same recipe drops in the shops!

3. Psoriasis

Rub a little garlic oil onto the effected area 1-2 times a day. Garlic has an anti inflammatory property which will really help.

4. Advance your hair

Help stimulate your hair growth my massaging garlic oil on to the scalp.

5. Spice up your love life

Garlic is a known aphrodisiac, as it aids circulation and helps pump blood to your extremities once it hits your stomach it can really help to turn things on ;-)

6. Face Cleanser

Garlic can help with acne and tightening of the skin. Mince the garlic with some olive oil and wash your face then rinse. Do not get on broken skin.
